Quote of the Day:
WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning.
The Canticle of the Sun by Francis of Assisi (day 3 of 14):
… Be praised, my Lord [Jesus], through all your creatures, esp. through my lord Brother Sun, who brings the day; and you give light through him. …
God was magnificent in creating all creation for us. One of the first things he created was the sun to separate to illuminate the darkness. From Genesis’ first chapter in the old testament, we go to the first chapters of the new testaments for a repeat (a godwink) in scripture.
The Son created by God comes to illuminate the darkness caused by sin. This Son is called Jesus, and calls all of us into the glow of us mercy and magnificence.

They should joyfully accompany their children on their human and spiritual journey by providing a simple and open Christian education and being attentive to the vocation of each child.
